EAAE/ARCC 10th International Conference – Lisbon 2016
Architectural Research addressing Societal Challenges
15-18 June 2016, Faculty of Architecture of the University of Lisbon, Lisbon, Portugal
The European Association for Architectural Education (EAAE) and the Architectural Research Centers Consortium (ARCC) invite you to attend their joined 10th International Conference, whose theme is Architectural Research addressing Societal Challenges hosted by theFaculty of Architecture of the University of Lisbon, Portugal, from the 15th to the 18th of June 2016. This edition, of this every other year conference, is now calling for abstracts which aim to point out how research can address the challenges of a changing society. Abstracts may be framed within the following five subthemes:
1. A Changing Society
2. In Transit – Global Migration
3. Renaturalization of the City
4. Emerging Fields of Architectural Practice
5. Research on Architectural Education
There can be a limited number of lectures, and the contributions must be pre-selected through the review process. Extended abstracts should have a maximum of 500 words. Selected abstracts will be invited to submit the final paper. The final paper, which must be original and unpublished anywhere else will be 4 to 12 pages long. Selected authors who attend the conference, will be published in the Conference Proceedings.
